Warning! Not for the FAT at heart!

Steps you can take TODAY
 to lose the fat
and live a healthier and happier life!

Are you sick and tired of being FAT? Have you tried every diet and weight loss pill on the market in a desperate attempt to lose weight?

You start each new diet thinking this will be the one. You may even lose some weight, you may even lose a lot of weight. But then, for some unknown reason, you stop losing the ugly fat and start packing it back on at lightning speed.

Before you know it, the weight you spent weeks or even months killing yourself to lose has "somehow" reappeared. The countless days of deprivation and starvation to lose that ugly fat, all for nothing. You are right back where you started, or maybe worse, fatter than before your "diet".

You are not alone!

Let me share my story. I have been fat my entire life! Yes I said my entire life. Even as a kid, I was overweight. So my battle to lose weight began at a very early age. At just 12, I went on my first diet. With little or no support from friends and family, you can guess at my success. Temporary at best.

And so, I waddled into my adulthood fat and unhappy but always hopeful there would be a magic pill or a food that would instantly melt my fat away and change my life forever.

I tried every product that came on the market. I watched every weight loss infomercial in anticipation of a miracle. I spent countless dollars waiting for that miracle that would change my life forever. But predictaly, the pounds always came back and then some.

It was only as I hit 40, that I realized I may be going about this whole weight loss thing wrong. Maybe my approach at weight loss is the reason I am obese and have serious health issues. (Gee, you think!)

With over 100 pounds to lose, I was very frankly, hopeless. My doctors told me I might not make it to 50 if I did not do something about my weight immediately.

Ok, so now what?

I decided my previous attempts at weight loss were unsuccessful. Obviously! I also decided that since it had taken all of my life to get where I was, it was going to take the rest of my life to get where I needed to be. In other words, I finally understood a "Diet" was not going to cut it. I needed a whole new way of life.

I knew then that I would need to make healthy changes to my lifestyle that would last a lifetime. Healthy eating habits that would not end when I lost the extra weight but continue for the rest of my life to ensure I would never be obese again.

I had to get in control of my eating, no magic potions, just determination and hard work.

The 1st Step

I decided I would need a healthy and sensible eating plan that I could live with. This is key. If you try to follow a weight loss program that is to restrictive, or incorporates foods you don't like, how successful do you think you will be.

Sure you may lose weight at first, but this is not what we are talking about. We want results that will be long term. No more yo yo dieting, just a new healthy approach to meals and snacks.

I also needed a weight loss program that was going to be easy to follow.  I did not want a program that was going to be complicated or involved. I am a very busy person, so the easier the better.

I also decided a program that was not expensive was an absolute must, I am on a very tight budget. I needed to learn to make healthy meal and snack choices that would be appropriate for me and my family. I am not doing this alone! Take a sneak peak at the weight loss program I followed.

The next step

Take Action. All the research and information I was collecting was really not going to do me much good unless I took action. NO MORE EXCUSES! It's time to stop making all those lame excuses about why today is not a good day to eat healthy.

There are no excuses I have not made myself. Believe me, I have made them all.

Don't worry about failure, erase that word from your vocabulary. Yes, you may slip up, but learn from that, don't let it be the reason you give up but the very reason you keep trying. Y

ou will approach weight loss from a different angle. One day at a time. One meal at a time. One pound at a time. Make the best choices you can and never give up. You are worth all the effort it takes and the rewards will be priceless.

The Results

I have lost over 70 pounds and have about 40 to go before I reach a healthy goal weight. I did not lose this weight overnight and there were no magic pills.

I do not spend countless hours at the gym, although I have started a walking program that is really speeding up my weight loss. Just a new and healthier way of eating. My weight loss is permanent.

I do indulge in a special treat every now and then, but I do not let one treat or meal sabotage all I have accomplished. It is simply part of the big picture. It was not one meal or high calorie food that had me busting the seams of my pants when I was more than 100 pounds overweight.
